Cell Block Slide Preparation System

Residual cytology material is worth keeping for future IHC or molecular work. This system turns it into cell blocks in standard cassettes from about 50–100 cells, using plasma-thrombin, agar or gel matrices with automated reagent exchange. Up to 12 samples take about 2–4 h, and blocks cut at 3–5 µm.
