Protocols involving radioisotopes, hazardous drugs or toxic volatiles need a cabinet that recirculates nothing. Type B2 exhausts 100% of its air, 700–1600 m3/h, through a dedicated hard duct with a fan-to-cabinet interlock. Inflow is 0.38 to 0.51 m/s and filters are H14.
