Suspension mammalian and insect cells in shake flasks need CO2 and humidity as well as gentle agitation. This incubator shaker controls CO2 over 0–20% by IR sensor, holds 90–95% RH and shakes at 20–150 rpm on a 25 mm orbit, typically at 37 C. Chambers are 50–200 L.
