When samples mix species or contain flat, elongated or irregular seeds, a camera does the job better than a light beam. Spread up to 1000 seeds in the tray, scan for 2–10 s, and get the count plus each seed's length, width and projected area. Results go to USB, Ethernet or your LIMS.
