Each stand has its own needle, 113.4 g with a Ø 2.12 mm tip or 453.6 g with a Ø 1.06 mm tip, in a low-friction brass bushing. There is 60 mm of clearance beneath each needle on a 120 × 120 mm cast-iron base.
