Sintering zirconia, melting frits or testing refractories means working well above 1400 C. This muffle furnace uses molybdenum disilicide elements and alumina or zirconia fiber insulation to reach 1800 C in a 1–10 L chamber. Expect 90–180 min to 1600 C. Type B or S thermocouples are fitted; please state your typical hold temperature when inquiring.
