Cold vapour mode measures Hg at 0.01–0.1 µg/L, hydride mode reaches 0.05–0.5 µg/L for arsenic, selenium and the other hydride formers (Sn, Bi, Sb), and changeover takes 10–30 min. The quartz cell works heated or at ambient temperature.
