Labs with reusable holders, flasks or clamps can cut their own filtration costs with membrane discs. Diameters run 25–293 mm, with pores from 0.1 to 5 µm, in PTFE, PVDF, PES, nylon, CA or glass fibre. Use 0.22 µm for sterilisation, glass fibre prefilters for loaded samples and PTFE discs for vessel vents under vacuum or pressure.
