Service-life models and many marine specifications use a chloride migration coefficient rather than coulombs. This tester runs three or six Ø 100 × 50 mm specimens, selecting 10–60 V DC from the initial current and running 6–96 h, typically 24 h. After splitting and spraying, the penetration depth is entered and the coefficient calculated.
