Contracts and older specifications in some markets still quote viscosity in Saybolt seconds. This viscometer follows ASTM D88, D2161 and IP 70, with Universal (32–1000 SUS) and Furol (25–300 SFS) orifices, a ±0.03 °C oil or water bath up to 100 °C and a 60 mL receiving flask. Timing uses a digital stopwatch at 0.1 s.
