Expression screens, susceptibility plates and growth curves in deep-well plates need vigorous shaking for aeration. This incubator shakes at 500–1,200 rpm with orbits of 3–25 mm depending on model, holding 2–12 plates with 100–2,000 µL per well. An optional OD600 reader records growth from 0 to 4 OD.
