Gene panels, agrigenomic traits and AMR markers can be genotyped in depth with targeted sequencing. Panels cover 50–5,000 loci at 100–1,000x depth, with 150–300 bp paired reads from 10–100 ng DNA. Libraries are made by multiplex PCR or hybridisation capture; variants are detected down to about 1–5% allele fraction in about 1–3 days.
