Refractometers — Optical Instruments
Refractive index is a fast way to check concentration, purity and identity, from syrups and juices to oils, solvents and gemstones. Our refractometers include the classic Abbe design, automatic digital models, handheld units for field checks, inline sensors for process control and gem refractometers. Measurements can follow USP <831>, ASTM D1218, ISO 2173 or the European Pharmacopoeia chapter 2.2.6, with Brix or other scales on request.
