Labs with moderate coagulation workload, often under a few dozen samples a day, can run PT, APTT, fibrinogen and TT reliably on a semi-automatic analyzer. Our models use optical, mechanical or turbidimetric clot detection, with chromogenic capability and a four-channel option. For setup and validation, CLSI H21 covers specimen handling and H57 covers protocol, alongside ICSH coagulation recommendations.
