Perchloric Acid Hoods — Fume Hoods

Perchloric acid vapour can leave explosive deposits in ducts, so these hoods need wash-down systems and compatible materials throughout. We build water-washdown, walk-in, benchtop, VAV and scrubber-equipped perchloric hoods. Designs reference NFPA 45 for laboratory fire protection and EN 14175-2 for safety and performance.

How to specify

  1. Never connect a perchloric hood to a shared exhaust duct.
