The accelerated mortar bar method gives an ASR screening result in about two weeks instead of a year. This 120 L insulated stainless bath holds 80 ± 2 °C to ±0.5 °C and carries up to 36 bars in 12 sealed polypropylene containers of 1 N NaOH. A gabled lid returns condensate so water does not drip onto the containers.
