Mix and mat temperatures must be read inside the material, not just on the surface. This thermometer uses a type K sensor reading −50 to 400 °C to 0.1 °C, supplied with a 300 mm penetration probe for trucks and a 150 mm mat probe. Response is under 3 s, and the IP65 housing copes with dust and rain on site.
