This rig loads 600 mm span frames of 12 × 3 mm mild steel with vertical and horizontal screw jacks on two 0–1 kN load cells. Two 0.01 mm digital indicators track deflection to failure on a 4-channel peak-hold display, and 10 replacement frames are supplied.
