Multi-storey frames bring in storey drift and bracing, which a single portal cannot show. This two-storey frame has a 600 mm bay and 400 mm storeys, with pulley loading up to 100 N at each floor and up to 100 N on each beam. Two 0.01 mm dial gauges measure drift, and removable diagonal braces let students compare braced and unbraced behaviour.
