Soils with gravel need a larger sample than a 50 mL bottle can hold. This 1 L glass jar takes about 200–400 g of material up to 20 mm and seals with a brass cone top, rubber washer and screw ring. The 6 mm hole in the cone gives a repeatable fill level, and two jars come per set.
