Measuring extinction angles and cleavage relationships accurately depends on a finely graduated, well-centred stage. This microscope's 360° stage reads to 0.1° with vernier and dual centring screws. Polarizer and analyser both rotate, and a focusable, centrable Bertrand lens is included. Strain-free objectives cover 40×–600×.
