Dredging and reservoir surveys must separate soft sediment from the firm bed. This dual-frequency sounder uses 200 kHz for the top surface from 0.3 m and 24 kHz for deeper penetration to 600 m, accurate to ±(1 cm + 0.1% D). It accepts GNSS, motion and sound velocity inputs on a rugged 12-inch PC.
