Soaked Ten Percent Fines Test Kit

Some aggregates lose much of their strength when saturated, and specifications may ask for the soaked value. This kit adds a lidded 40 L stainless tank, three 3.35 mm mesh baskets and a 400 × 300 mm perforated draining tray to a 154 mm cylinder. Samples soak for 24 h at 20 ± 5 °C before surface drying and testing.
