Bridge decks and pavements in freezing climates are accepted or rejected on air content at the truck. This Type B meter uses a 7.1 L cast aluminium bowl and a gauge reading 0–10%, graduated in 0.1% steps up to 8%. Four toggle clamps seal the lid, and the kit includes a calibration vessel, rod, strike-off bar and mallet.
