The galvanised frame lays 20 bricks end to end against a 4800 mm tape read to 1 mm, while a 0–15 mm warpage wedge and 300 mm straightedge check faces and edges. A 0–300 mm digital caliper at 0.01 mm handles individual units for BS EN 772-16.
