Labs without a microwave system can still digest volatile elements and refractory materials in sealed vessels, using an oven or heating block as the heat source. This system holds 6–24 PTFE-TFM vessels of 50–100 mL, with an optional liner, at up to 200 °C and 60 bar. Ramp and hold steps are programmable. Pressure relief is by rupture disc or vent valve.
