Silicon nitride, aluminium nitride and carbide powders contain percent-level oxygen and nitrogen that steel analyzers cannot handle. This system reaches above 2800 °C with up to 8 kW furnace power and measures oxygen and nitrogen from 0.001% to 40%. High-content samples need only 5–100 mg. Oxygen RSD is ≤2% at 1% O.
