Peltier-Controlled Automatic Polarimeter

Pharmacopoeial specific rotation tests fix both wavelength and temperature, and this polarimeter controls each. The Peltier chamber holds 15–40 °C to ±0.1 °C, readability is 0.001° and accuracy ±0.003°, with optional 365, 436 and 546 nm lines besides 589 nm. Micro cells need ≥1 mL. Chiral API release and reference standard work are typical applications.
