Badly trimmed specimens with sloping ends will fail early and spoil the result. This set uses a rotating turntable trimmer with vertical guide to cut 38, 50 or 70 mm specimens up to 150 mm high. Brass split moulds of 38 × 76 mm and 50 × 100 mm and a mitre box square the ends.
