Jet fuel, kerosene, thinners and solvents that flash under 93 °C belong in a Tag closed cup. Following ASTM D56, the sample of about 50 mL is heated in a water or glycol bath at roughly 1 °C/min and tested with a 4 mm flame bead. Range is ambient to 110 °C, extendable to 0 °C with the cooling option.
