PVC dry-blend fusion, masterbatch dispersion and compound formulation work all start in a heated mixing chamber. This torque rheometer offers chambers of 30–300 mL, typically 60 mL, with rotors up to 200 rpm and torque to 200 N·m resolved at 0.01 N·m. An embedded thermocouple records real melt temperature up to 400 °C.
