Pore size and porosity decide how a filter performs, how a catalyst pellet breathes and how a ceramic or rock lets fluids through. Our porosimetry group includes high-pressure mercury intrusion up to 400 MPa, a low-pressure unit for macropores, capillary flow porometers for membranes, gas permeability testers and helium pycnometers for true density. Testing can follow ASTM D4284, ISO 15901-1, ASTM F316 or ASTM D6226, depending on the property you report.
