Rock is weakest in tension, and direct pull tests are hard to run, so the Brazilian disc test is the standard way to measure tensile strength indirectly. We offer curved-jaw jigs for NX discs, adjustable flat-platen jigs, a large jig for 100–150 mm discs, a digital tester with its own frame and a servo machine for displacement-controlled tests. Disc diameter and whether you already own a compression machine decide the choice. Results are normally reported under ASTM D3967 or, in India, IS 10082.
