Two compactors set to the same external angle can still produce different densities. This kit sits inside a 150 mm mould and measures the internal angle from 0.8 to 1.5° at 0.001° resolution and ± 0.01° accuracy, using an eccentric load insert for ASTM D7115. It runs on a rechargeable battery and reports the angle each gyration.
