Thermogravimetry measures mass change as a polymer is heated, which reveals moisture, volatiles, polymer content, carbon black and inorganic filler. Our TGA line includes stand-alone and autosampler analysers, simultaneous TGA-DSC, and coupled TGA-FTIR and TGA-MS systems that identify evolved gases. Typical methods are ASTM E1131 for compositional work, ISO 11358-1 for general practice and ASTM D6370 for rubber.
