The autoclave expansion test exposes delayed expansion from periclase that a boiling test can miss, and many national specifications cap it for every cement type. We build digital cement autoclaves with automatic pressure cycles, a chart-recorder model, a touchscreen unit with data logging, a high-capacity vessel for 30 bars and the length comparator to read the bars. Bar throughput, record-keeping needs and power supply guide the choice. Procedures follow ASTM C151 and AASHTO T 107, with bar measurement to ASTM C490.
