Flow sets the water content of standard mortar for strength and sulfate tests, and it is the main consistency check on masonry and rendering mortars. We make hand-cranked and motorised flow tables to the ASTM pattern, hand and motorised tables to the BS EN 1015-3 pattern, and an IS motorised model. Which pattern you need depends on the table diameter and drop height in your method. ASTM C1437 and ASTM C230 govern the 255 mm table, and BS EN 1015-3 the 300 mm table.
