Cement strength class is set by breaking mortar prisms in bending and then crushing the halves, so these machines decide whether a cement passes. We make a lever-type electric flexural tester, a digital flexural machine, a 300 kN digital compression machine with 40 mm jig, an automatic servo machine combining both frames and a 250 kN machine for 50 mm and 70.6 mm cubes. Loading rate control, capacity and the specimen shape you test drive the choice. They suit BS EN 196-1, ASTM C109 and IS 4031 (Part 6).

How to specify
- Prefer closed-loop rate control: EN 196-1 asks for 2400 ± 200 N/s in compression and 50 ± 10 N/s in flexure.
- Make sure the compression jig has 40 × 40 mm hardened platens with a spherical seat.
- Ask for a calibration certificate covering the lowest range you actually use.
