Normal consistency and setting time decide how much water a cement paste needs and how long it stays workable, so the Vicat test sits at the start of almost every cement report. We offer manual Vicat frames to EN and ASTM patterns, an IS pattern with dashpot, a digital readout model and automatic recorders for one or several moulds. Daily sample volume and the standard you report against decide the choice. Labs working to ASTM C191, BS EN 196-3 or IS 4031 (Part 5) will find a matching model here.
