A mould that is out of square or leaks paste will bias strength and length-change results before the specimen is ever tested. We supply three-gang steel prism moulds for 40 × 40 × 160 mm specimens, a lightweight polyurethane prism mould, three-gang 50 mm cube moulds, single 70.6 mm cube moulds and gang moulds for 25 × 25 × 285 mm length-change bars. Your test method and how many specimens you cast per batch decide the choice. Dimensions follow BS EN 196-1, ASTM C109 and IS 10086, with bar moulds to ASTM C490.
