Laying flooring, coatings or membranes on a slab that is still too wet leads to blistering, debonding and adhesive failure. We offer non-destructive capacitance meters, in-situ relative humidity probe kits, calcium chloride emission kits, hood hygrometers for screeds and microwave meters that read deeper into the slab. The flooring maker's requirement, slab thickness and whether you need a quick survey or a formal test decide the choice. ASTM F2170 and ASTM F1869 are the usual acceptance tests, with BS 8203 common in the UK.
