Liquid and plastic limits classify fine soils and flag clays that will shrink, swell or lose strength, so they appear on nearly every borehole log. We offer hand-operated and motorised Casagrande devices, a digital 80 g fall cone, a combined 76 g liquid-plastic limit cone tester and a plastic and shrinkage limit set. Your standard decides between cup and cone, and test volume decides between manual and motorised. Equipment matches ASTM D4318, BS 1377-2 and IS 2720 (Part 5).
