Grading of coarse aggregate needs bigger sieves and heavier shakers than soil or powder work, because a single test portion can weigh 20 kg or more. We supply 450 mm large-tray screen shakers, multi-tray deck shakers, wet-washing sieve sets, 300 mm brass and stainless test sieve sets and perforated-plate sieves for coarse stone. Maximum particle size, sample mass and whether you wash out fines decide the choice. Sieves and apertures follow ISO 3310-1, ISO 3310-2 and ASTM E11, for grading to ASTM C136 and BS EN 933-1.
