The Micro-Deval test wears aggregate in water with steel balls, so it picks up the weak, absorbent stone that a dry Los Angeles test can miss. We offer two-jar and four-jar machines, an enclosed low-noise unit, a fine aggregate set and replacement jars with ball charges. Throughput, noise and whether you test coarse or fine aggregate decide the choice. Our machines run to ASTM D6928, AASHTO T 327 and BS EN 1097-1.
