Ride quality is what road users notice first, and IRI or profile data is now written into most construction and maintenance contracts. We offer vehicle-mounted laser inertial profilers, walking profilers, towed 3 m continuous roughness meters, response-type bump integrators and a manual step profiler for reference sections. Survey length, required profiler class and budget decide the choice. Profile measurement and roughness reporting are set out in ASTM E950 and ASTM E1926, with ASTM E1364 used for static reference profiles.
