Planimeters measure irregular areas on maps, drawings and cross-sections quickly, without digitising the sheet. We offer compact and large-arm digital polar planimeters, a digital roller planimeter for long strips, and mechanical compensating polar and roller planimeters for teaching. Map size, required resolution and whether results must be printed or sent to a PC decide the choice. Area work on drawings follows the scales of ISO 5455, and building areas are often defined to ISO 9836.
