Loss on heating and the thin film oven test show how much a binder hardens and loses volatiles during hot mixing. We build a standard thin film oven with a rotating shelf, a loss-on-heating oven for 55 mm tins, a PID-controlled model with shelf speed monitoring, a compact four-pan teaching oven and spare stainless steel pans. Sample count and which method you report decide the choice. Ovens run at 163 °C to ASTM D1754 and IS 9382.
